About The Irish Open
If you have ever played or attended the Irish Open in Atlantic City, you will know that it represents so much more than a game of golf. It is where old friends reunite for the official kick off to summer, it is where new friends meet and look forward with anticipation to the following years. It's where kids meet up year after year to form bonds with others that without the Irish Open they would otherwise never have known. It is about the Saturday night music and dancing, it's about the competition on the fairways and the shenanigans by the pool. It's about getting away from the city and daily life, travelling to the shore for a night or two, or maybe even three or four! It's about the young laughter, the old chuckles and everything in between.
The "Craic" that makes us Irish unique is on full display over the weekend, showing our passion for having a good time, and a pride in our heritage. So yes, the entire weekend centers around the golf, but it's all these frills that make this weekend sell out year after year. John Foley and his lovely wife Trish did a fantastic job running this weekend since 2010 and when we took it over we knew we had huge shoes to fill. In 2022 you all welcomed us to steward this weekend and we hope we got off to a good start. With your help we will only get better and better! We look forward to seeing you down the shore again this coming Memorial Weekend.
